I’m a U.S. Coast Guard veteran with a degree in Chemistry and a lifelong obsession with physics and laser technology. I’ve always lived in the world of precision, formulas, measurements, and the kind of experimentation where the numbers either work or they don’t. Laser engraving became the place where that left‑brain discipline collided with something I never expected to fall in love with: design.

I’m 100% self‑taught in the artistic side of this craft. Nothing about design came naturally to me. I had to learn it the same way I learned everything else in my life — through trial, error, curiosity, and a refusal to quit. That struggle shaped the way I create. It made me intentional. It made me patient.

I’ve always connected with thinkers like Fibonacci and Tesla — people who chased the hidden patterns behind beauty and energy. Their work shaped the way I see the world. It taught me that creativity isn’t chaos; it’s structure. It’s proportion. It’s the discipline to understand the geometry of something before you reshape it. That philosophy is at the core of how I design and engrave: intentional, pattern‑driven, and built on the same mathematics and energy that run through nature itself.

The name Alchemy wasn’t chosen by accident. I’ve always been drawn to transformation — not just the kind that turns raw material into something that outlives you, but the kind that reshapes a person. My own life has been a series of transformations: veteran, scientist, father, maker, self‑taught artist, and a man who’s rebuilt himself more than once. Every chapter required me to burn away what no longer served me and rebuild with intention. I’ve always believed that if you’re not learning, you’re dying, and each transformation has forced me to grow in ways I never expected. Engraving is the physical expression of that belief — modern‑day alchemy where heat, light, physics, and purpose reshape both material and self into something meaningful. That’s why I care so much about the work I do. Every piece is a balance between the precision I was trained in and the creativity I had to earn. It’s science meeting imagination. Structure meeting instinct. Discipline meeting curiosity.

Our process starts with a conversation. I want to understand your story, your vision, and the feeling you want the piece to carry. From there, I design with purpose — using everything I know about substrate behavior, laser physics, and the creative instincts I’ve built over years of pushing myself into uncomfortable territory.
